International news about my country (draft 2)
I came across this article from the Washington Post. It had mentioned the provinces in south of China to ban keeping of mistresses. I chose this headline because I found it is not only in China, but also in other countries, the trend of keeping of mistresses is rising every year. Some provinces of Guangdong had been passing a law to ban this trend. Beijing News mentioned the law is about legislation guaranteeing women’s rights, especially extra-marital affairs should be banned. A lawmaker of Guangdong, who is named Cheng Jingchu also, indicated marital stability should be enhancing. Although, China reminds officials to honour the sanctity of marriage, some of the senior cadres’ cases still involved mistresses.

dip trip (dtraft 2)
When I heard we had a trip on the first of May 2007, I was so interested in it. I never had a trip like this. I thought that day was so fantastic. I really enjoyed it.
Kent, Sisqo, Jamila and I made a decision. We met at Unitec in front of building 48 first, then we drove in one car together. Unfortunately, we went to La Vinci Café without our boss (Jamila), because she got sick. I hope she feels better now. Finally, Kent, Sisqo and I went together. We played some shocking music while we were driving. I felt so good.
We arrived at La Vinci café around 10 o’clock, and we ordered some drinks and cakes. After that we followed Jane’s car and went to Cornwallis Beach. I was so excited, because we had a picnic. I loved it. I will never forget the chicken was cooked by Anita and Flint’s cake; both of those were so delicious. We also went to fishing; I found there were so many professional fishers in my class, such as Buchao and Cindy. They taught me how to fish, although I tried so hard, I still caught nothing.
However, the time passed so quickly and nobody wanted to leave. I will never forget this day. I hope we can have more and more trips like this. I love this trip, I love everybody in my class.

Recently, I read a book called “Rain Man”. Charley is a hustler. He has his own business but the company is terrible and he has not got enough money to pay bills. He finds that a father, who threw him out when he was a teenager, has died. He's left him an antique convertible and something more important: A completely unknown brother, Raymond. Raymond is autistic, but he is able to calculate mathematical problems in his head with great speed and accuracy. Their father has left his most of possessions to Raymond, who doesn't even understand what money is for. Charley is enraged by what has happened and by his father keeping Raymond's existence from him for his entire life. He kidnaps Raymond from his residential home. When they had been on their trip, Charley found that Raymond was his secret friend when he was young. Charley called him “Rain Man”. The old memory emerged in his mind. He really has this older brother. The long trip helped them to understand each other.
lecture note 2 first aid
Today I learned some important things from lecture about First Aid. I think is very helpful for everybody. It taught what we should do when the emergency happened, especially CPR. I will be worried when someone fainted on the street, although I want to help that people. However, I do not need to afraid it any more. Firstly, you should think about yourself: Are you safe? It means safe yourself and then save others. Secondly, should communicate with that person, and lift the chin up, listen the breathing, watch the chest expanding. If the person stills no answer, try to give few breaths, and rhythm 30 times, put hand on top of chest. When you do breath do not forget using something cover the person’s mouse. It calls Kiss of the life. But if do rhythm for children or baby, you must be more carefully. For children just use one hand, if for the baby only 2 figures and very soft. It also talked about bleeding.
At last, I think I should do more courses about first aid and accumulate more knowledge. I want to help others, and become helpful for others.

I came across this crime story from the internet .It is about a victim who was threatened by two people with batons and what happened.The case happened on February 14 on the Harbour Bridge. Because the offender¡¯s car cut into the travelling lane and caused other drivers broke suddenlly and took some evasive actions. When the victim was forced to stop,then two offenders got down with tow batons. At that time, a witness stopped them. Therefore, I think driver should drive safly and carefully.

My break (draft 2)
During my break I went to Rotorua and Taupo with my 3 brothers and my sister. Although, this is my second time to go there, but I still enjoy this trip.
Unfortunately, we just stayed there for three days. because, my brother¡¯s job. Some of my friends want to know why I like to go to Rotorua. These days I find that I grew up in a busy city, and now I study in a busy country too. So I want to find a place where I can have fun and enjoy also quiet, so Rotorua must be the place I dreamed to before. This is my first time to feel really relaxed. However I never felt bored, because I did some exciting sports, such as rafting and bungy jumping. But I found one thing makes me felt not very good,it is the food. Some sea food is very nice but expensive, the others food is just so so. We came across Taupo when we were back. We ate lunch there, and I think the boss of that restaurant is very happy, all of my friends are shocked, we just 5 people, but we ate 6kg¡¯s shrimp. So I still feel sick now. Anyway, I enjoyed this break.

about me (draft 2)
My name is Liu Jiahao. My English name is Storm. Maybe it sounds very strange but I like it very much. I come from Shijiashuang which is a very important part of China. It is not only a business city but also beautiful. There are seven people in my family. So I think it is happier than other families. I love my family. Now, I miss my family very much…
I have a lot of hobbies. For example, in my free time I always play basketball with my friends and I like watching Sports TV too. Sport is good for my health. I wish everybody could join us then we could have a match. I think it would be very exciting. I am also good at table tennis. When I was a child my father and I played it all time and I won a match which was hold by my school. I like rugby, too, but I just watch it on TV. I want to play it, so I hope someone can teach me.
I have been living here for two months. At the beginning, I felt very lonely, so I would call my family and friends. But now, I have made a lot of friends in New Zealand. They are friendly and help me a lots. I want to finish my language study quickly; so I must spend more time on studying. My spoken English is poor and my grammar is also not good, so how to improve these two parts is a big problem. I will try my best to study. I wish I could get a good result in the final exam.

The globelisation on my life(draft 2)
Globalisation is not only having advantages, but also has disadvantages on my life. Firstly, globalisation teaches me some new knowledge which I cannot learn it in school, such as new cultures, new fashions and new life styles. I am very interested in it. Globalisation also changes my life. I still remember in my childhood when I wanted to listen to the music from a radio, I just followed the radio’s menu and I could not choose the type of music, but nowadays, I have my own MP3,so it is very helpful and useful. On the other hand, globalisation makes me enjoyed computer games very much, so it always wastes my time. I liked playing basketball very much before, but now chatting online instead, so I do not think it is good for my health. Globalisation also pushes the electrification improve quickly, so the game box is very popular, and I cannot control myself. Because of that my wallet always empty. To sum up, globalisation pushes world development, and also teaches me more and more professional. Although, globalisation not only has positive influence, but also has negative influence. But I think the positive influence has a big part of globalisation. I just enjoy the globalisation changes my life.

These tow pictures are related to different types’ classroom. The first one is a computer class and another one is a drawing class. We can easy found that the student who study in the computer class, they are need team work. And the drawing class’s student they are painting by themselves, so I think this is the biggest different form these tow classes.
Moreover, I think the first class student, they can share the idea, experience, so they can get the answer easily; but another group of students will consider, image and do everything by the themselves, although, it is quite hard for them, but they can improve their ability and this drawing class also have a quite environment; it’s really good for study, so I support the student study in the second class.

Comparison
Both of these two pictures are related to market. The first one is a supermarket and another is a local market. From the first picture we can see there is a better shopping environment and very nice food. But the stuff of that must be more expensive than the local market. In my opinion, more and more people like shopping in a comfortable place such like this. On the other hand, the local market is very good for some restaurants and some people who want buy the cheap things but also fresh. The local market can help people save the money. But I think the local market is not suiting me because I do not know how to make the price cheaper. Anyway I prefer the supermarket where is clean and has the fresh stuff.

The effects of Globelisaton on my life
The effects of globalisation are not only having advantages, but also have disadvantages on my life.
Firstly, the globalisation teaches me some new knowledge which I cannot learn it in school, such as the new culture, new fashion and new life style. I am very interested in it. The globalisation also changes my life. I still remember in my childhood when I wanted to listen the music from radio, I just followed the radio’s menu and I cannot choose the type of the music, but nowadays, I have my own MP3,so it is very helpful and useful. movie review
I saw a lot of films during holiday. The best one of DVDs was “The Fantasy 4”. It is a fantasy and Sci-Fi movie. This plot is about 4 super heroes’ DNA mutant.
One day, 5 space scientists went to space to make a study of the strange cloud. However, the cloud appears earlier than they thought, exploded and covered the spaceship when they were on the board. After that, they became super heroes but one man who is the boss of this project had been a bad superman, because he did not want anybody to know that the project is a failure. For this reason, while the super heroes were helping people who need rescues, he always interrupted them. The bad superman has to fight with 4 super heroes, so he needed more power. For getting power, he absorbed it from electricity. Although he had strong power, the 4 super heroes win and the bad superman dies.
Even though I watched this movie with English subtitles, I doubted whether understood it at all, because many quite topic specific words were used. Although I am not good at English, I enjoyed this movie. The plots are exciting and unusual, the setting is realistic and the acting was average. For these reasons, I would like to recommend it to my classmates.

Lecture summary
The lecture on 27 March talked about the Student Funding. I think it is very helpful for the student and it also mentioned about the definition of Student Funding, student allowance, funding page, Unitec website, job search, personal cash-flow and the budget plan. On the other hand, this lecture gave us a structure of Student Funding and how it helps students with their lives. For instance, it can help students for searching jobs. It also can help students with their tuition fees. In “the budget plan” section, the lecture concerned how the Student Funding helps us with our arrangement for banking systems, so it is very useful for the students saving money. In the end, the lecturer told us the Student Funding is very happy to help us to solute our problems.
